Three Days in
Montreal

Day 1

Vieux-Port at dusk

Perfect first stop off the plane — a flat riverside path with golden evening light. Easy on the legs after travel.

Dinner at LOV

Fully vegetarian, with a menu big enough that nobody compromises — dumplings, bowls, burgers. Great relaxed first dinner.

Day 2

Notre-Dame Basilica

The blue-and-gold showstopper — plenty of seating inside to sit and take it in. ~$16 entry, worth every dollar.

Montreal Biodome

Four ecosystems under one roof, fully indoor and easy walking. The penguins steal the show.

Jardin botanique

Stick to the Chinese and Japanese gardens plus the main greenhouse — the grounds are huge, and that's the highlights tour. Combo pass covers Biodome too.

Dinner at Lulu's Pasta Bar

Casual fresh-pasta spot with excellent vegetarian plates — the truffle and pesto pastas are the picks.

Day 3

Le Cathcart — Underground City

Eat at this food hall in the RÉSO, then wander the tunnels — 33 km of city under the city, and totally unique to Montreal.

Old Port, one more time

A flat stroll along the St. Lawrence — the easiest, most pleasant walk in the city.

Mont Royal — Kondiaronk Belvedere

Take a taxi (or bus 11) up Camillien-Houde — zero climbing — and the whole city is laid out below. Best in late-afternoon light; the chalet has a café and washrooms.

Dinner at India Rosa

Indian fusion in Griffintown with strong vegetarian options — paneer tikka and veg biryani are the standouts.
